Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
300 ml warm Water
20 g fresh Yeast
500 g Flour
3 tbs Sunflower oil
pinch Salt
pinch Sugar
5 tbs Basil pesto

Hard crust and soft center with a fresh surprise inside. Filling is up to you. Perfect for parties and picnic. Watch out for the tempting smell in the house. Homemade bread – Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!

  • Don’t forget to pre – heat the oven
  • You can make it plain or add some pesto, dry tomatoes or olives
  • Roll out the dough a little bit smaller than the tin you are going to use

In the the warm water add the yeast and the sugar. Wait 5-6 min. Sift all the flour and mix it with the ready yeast. Stir it very well.

Move the dough on a board or just on a flat surface. Knead the dough until it stop being sticky and add the oil until absorbs. Leave it to rest around 40 minutes.
Sprinkle with flour. Roll out the dough and spread 4-5 tbsp. pesto on it. Roll it back in the shape of bread.

Cut gently with a sharp knife the bread diagonally into rhombuses. Leave it to rest for 30 minutes in the baking tin, covered with baking paper. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 220ºC.
