0.5 tsp Red pepper
0.5 tsp Black pepper

  • Beef takes more time than other meat to get done
  • Wait with slicing of quinces until meat is almost ready
  • You can substitute lutenitsa with tomato paste or chopped fresh tomatoes

Chop meat and fry in hot butter together with onion.

Cook until onion gets soft. Add flour, red pepper and some water until meat is half-ready.

Salt and pepper the dish, add bay leaves, lutenitsa sauce and sliced quinces. Stew until ready.
