Directions
Crispy chocolate delight in a Christmas form. All you need is a puff pastry package and a jar of chocolate. Easier to prepare than you can imagine. Great idea for sudden guests. Christmas chocolate tree – Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!
- After melting the chocolate, let it cool a bit before spreading over the puff pastry
- Before cutting the tree, make sure it is stiff enough
- For quick and easy result you can use any chocolate spread in a jar

Melt the chocolate in bain-marie as you stir constantly. When the chico;ate is melted let it cool for 30 minutes at room temperature. Roll out two puff pastry sheets to 1/2 cm thickness. Put the first sheet over a baking paper. Spread the chocolate over the first sheet. Cover with the second sheet. Let it rest for 30 min to stiff the chocolate. |

When the chocolate is stiff, start cutting. Cut the the pastry to form a tree. Then make some horizontal cuts to easily bake the pastry tree and form a look-like Christmas tree. Finally cut a star from the remaining pastry and put it on top. Bake for 20 minutes at 200 C in pre-heated oven. Take it out and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Decorate with rosemary and French grapes. |
