70 g Flour
70 g Cornstarch
Salt
Black pepper
110 g Water
Sunflower oil
Sauce
400 g Yogurt
1 bunch Dill
4 cloves Garlic
Salt
Black pepper
1 tbs Olive oil
1 tbs Lemon juice

Probably one of the most popular ways to prepare zucchini. Crispy, tasty and full of aromas. We would like one plain portion and one with garlic sauce. How about you? Fried Zucchini – Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!

  • these zucchini are light, but you can add eggs, breadcrumbs and baking powder
  • for healthier result bake the zucchini
  • to omit the spiciness, skip the garlic
  • to reach the sour taste of the sauce, use balkan yogurt or add more lemon juice

Cut the zucchini into slices /app. 1/2 sm thick/. Mix the flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper and water in a bowl.

Heat the sunflower oil in a pan, dip the zucchini slices in the flour mixture and fry in the oil until golden - app. 3 min per side. Drain on paper towels.

Mix the yogurt, finely chopped dill, the mashed garlic, the olive oil and the lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the zucchini warm with the yogurt sauce.
