250 g Tomatoes

Directions
Smell of the onions sizzling on the hot plate – yummy! Flavored with bunch of spices and crunchy walnuts. Layers of dough as bed sheets for the aroma filling. Meet Luchnik or in other words, Banitsa with onions. Soo Tasty with Soo Foodies!
- You may eventually substitute red onions with regular ones
- You can add fresh parsley to filling
- It is delicious warm as well as cold

Sift the flour into a big bowl. Put baking soda in the yogurt to rise for about 2-3 minutes. Add to the flour. Salt with just a pinch and add 1 tbs sunflower oil. Knead in the bowl for 2-3 minutes until smooth dough. Transfer to flat working surface and continue kneading. Finally divide the dough into 3 pieces. |

Roll out one piece of the dough (1/3 of all). When ready, use rolling-pin to carry it to the baking dish. Add chopped walnuts and spices to onions filling, namely dill, garden lovage, thyme, oregano, savory. Put a pinch of salt as well. Return to the hot plate for 10 more minutes to have all aromas released. |

Sprinkle baking dish with some oil and place one sheet of the dough with the help of rolling-pin. Distribute evenly half of the filling and cover with second dough sheet. Finish with second half of the onions filling and third dough sheet. Tuck well sticking ends of the bottom dough sheet. Bake in a pre-heat oven at 180 C until golden brown. |
